Recent Tours- from January 2011 to August 2011
1. Jaigaon on 15th August ( India's Independence Day celebration) in West Bengal
2. July 2011 GangtokTour: The Panchayat Association and Regional Tibetan Youth Congress invited Gangjong Doeghar to present cultural programs at Gangtok on 6th July 2011 to celebrate the 76th Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Accordingly 30 member troup participated in the grand celebratin of the Birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 6th and 7th of July 2011.
3. As per the invitations extended from different oganisers at different occasions, the artists and students of Gangjong Doeghar participated in different local festivals in January 2011 such as follows:
a) Cultural festival in Suri organised by Thermal Power Project Suri.
b). Rotary International Conference in Shantiketan organised by Rotary Club.
c). In Jatishwar (Jalpaiguri Cultural Festival),
d). Dellow in Kalimpong ( visit of Raiway Minister)

2010 TOURS:
1. May 2010 LachungTour: The Internation Rhododen dron Festival 2010 was held at Lachung in North Sikkim from 24th April to 15th May 2010. As per the invitation extended by the organisers and Sikkim Tourism Department, the artists of Gangjong Doeghar participated in the festival and presented colourfuol programs on the occasion.
2. October 2010 Yangang Tour: The artists of Gangjong Doeghar were invited to the Youth Adventure Festival 2010 at Yangang in South Sikkim. The artists made the festival further colourful and the audiance appreciated the programs.
3. October 2010 Rinchen Pong Tour: As per the invitation from the Rinchen Pong Tourism Club, the artists of Gangjong Doeghar participated in the Annual Rinchen Pong Tourist Festival.
4. Participation in "The Call of the Snow Lion": A documentary Film called "The Call of the Snow Lion" was shot by Tibet Foundation London. The part of the film was shot in Kalimpong and the artists of Gangjong Doeghar participated whole heartedly. The Director Mr. Phuntsog Wangyal appreciated the role of Gangjong Doeghar in the film.
2009 winter Tour to Hongkong, Delhi, Jaipur in Rajasthan, Clemen Town and Dickey Ling in Dehra Dun.
On the occasion of the Nobel Peace Award to His Holiness the Dalai Lama on 10th December 2009, we presented cultural show to the Tibetan sweater sellers at Jaipur. The audience appreciated the performances and we are successful in making awareness of our own culture to the people specially to the youths. The show was beyound the expectation of the audience. Jaipur tour wass a grand success.
In Delhi, We presented two shows to the participants of International Conference titled "Contribution of Tibetan Cultural to Global Understanding, Progress and Percepts at India International Centre organized by Tibet House, New Delhi.
First day on 18th December 2009, we presented a short Skit titled “Millarepa Meets Hunter Gompo Dorjee” and Black hat dance.
Second day on the 19th we presented folk dances and music. The participants from 13 countries applauded and appreciated the shows.
On 20th December 2009 we presented a cultural programme at Manj-Nuka-Tila Tibetan camp. Though financially we are not much gain but we are able to make the people aware of what Gangjong Doeghar is and what is it doing to preserve and promote the traditional Tibetan art of dance and music.
On 24th we presented cultural programme at Dhundup Ling at Clemen Town. It is learnt that the settlers have never expected such wonderful show on Tibetan art of dances and music.
On 25th we presented the programme in Dickey Ling Tibetan settlement. We were very successful to make aware of our aims and objectives to the people and the audience specially the disabled students of Nyongha School who liked the show and appreciated the programme very much.
It is for the first time to the majority of the audience at all these places to see such grand traditional Tibetan cultural programme.
